We are delighted that you have found us. Before we tell you the latest news, let's start at the beginning and tell you why we love traveling so much.
Our family of four has already moved 15 times because dad, Richy, is a professional handball player and has signed a new contract in Germany and Austria several times. Jenny, the mom, has of course always accompanied Richy and has also been able to work remotely in her family business. The children, Toby and Leni, were born on the handball trip in Innsbruck and Solingen and have experienced relocations from an early age.
Many people always ask us: What about the friends? Is school okay? Isn't it exhausting? Do you sometimes feel sad when you have to leave home again?
Moving is stressful, but we're professionals now.😉
You keep true friends no matter where they live.
There are schools all over the world. And there are ALWAYS other paths and options. (More on the subject of school soon).
And because we are not attached to material things, it is easy for us to leave a house again.
Rather, family cohesion is important to us and we are always “at home”, no matter where we are on the planet. The world is so big and there is so much to discover. You can also make new friends in the big, wide world.🤗
The World Tour
We will be traveling for the next few months or years. Maybe 2 or 3 years? In any case, we will plan less and live more.
We still live in Vienna at the moment. This is our original home and we returned here almost 2 years ago. Through our travels, however, we now know that there are other beautiful places on this earth and we want to continue to explore them and “not spend our lives in the same place, in the same house”.🙃 Those were Toby's words as a 7-year-old boy.
Please don't get us wrong! Something different suits everyone. Some people like to spend their lives in the same house or apartment and make history there. Everyone as they wish and we accept that. A little tip on the side: find your own way!
